Hi all, we thought we'd let you know about Need 2 Soul and Faith -
going down at Matter on Saturday 22nd August.

Need 2 Soul and Faith, the torch-bearers of all things house, are joined
by Joe Claussell, Gilles Peterson, Timmy Regisford, Brothers Vibe and
Benji B as guests for their first rendezvous at matter.

Hailing from NYC, Joe Claussell is a deep house pioneer and founder of
the Spritual Life Music and Sacred Rhythm Music labels, as well as
running the seminal Body & Soul nights with Francois K and Danny Krivit
- the New York party that epitomised the house aesthetic that Need 2
Soul and Faith represent. Claussell returns to London following an
appearance at Need 2 Soul's last night at The End back in December.

He'll be joined by Timmy Regisford, the man behind NYC's world famous
Club Shelter which he established back in the mid-90s, and Brothers Vibe
aka Tony Rodrguez, who returns to the capital following his slot at
secretsundaze's opening party of summer 2009.

Need 2 Soul & Faith regulars Stuart Patterson, Terry Farley and Dave
Jarvis also feature, with guest slots for BBC radio funk & soul
lynchpins Gilles Peterson (Radio 1, Thursdays, 2am) and Benji B - who
remains ahead of the curve with his weekly BBC 1Xtra show (midnight on
Mondays) and his monthly Deviation nights at Gramaphone.
