He defined the hip-house phenomenon in 1989 with “Turn Up the Bass,” but Tyree Cooper proved to be an excellent producer throughout house music’s first decade. He began DJing on Chicago’s south side in 1983 and recorded his first single ”I Fear the Night” three years later for the seminal house label, DJ International.

......From basketball star to DJ and producer extraordinaire and with the re-launch of his record label Supa Dup......a Records, the man is still on top of his game 26 years into his musical journey, and he's still flowing with a vibrant, all embracing passion.

This Tuesday the legend himself will be throwing down beats old and new, funking up the airwaves with an uncut deep groove, bangin' tha box with a live stream set direct from his crib in Berlin, Germany to Renegade Radio Tuesday 1st March 2011.
