After the blinding success of the recent Showcase at Pure Groove, The Hand Baked Arcade return with Pure Gaming, a regular event showcasing the best in retro video games. A huge variety of retro games consoles will be available to play for free from 7pm to 11:30pm on Saturday the 29th of May. Classic consoles such as the Sega Megadrive, Super Nintendo and Atari 2600 are just some which will be available to play. Another highlight will be a custom-built 2 player arcade machine with over 1500 nostalgic games to choose from. Games such as Street Fighter, Golden Axe, Pac Man and Space Invaders will all be available. The genre-defining video games*will be across multiple screens, from 15 monitors through to 7ft wide, projected* screens. The gaming will not be restricted to indoors as outside will feature large screen gaming on the portable, battery powered, 12v arcade!**

Alongside the arsenal of retro games there will also be music provided by E:LF, the founder of Hand Baked, playing a*DJ*set of chip tunes and computer game influenced music. Randomoidz is sure to keep people smiling with his eclectic selection of vinyl. Schemeboy steps up to provide an aurally pleasing dose of squelchy breaks, acid and techno. You are sure to get focussed on that end of level boss with Magimix and his selection of down-tempo bass and electronica.

The Hand Baked Arcade are well known for their temporary, retro computer game installations in nightclubs and festivals across the UK. These retro gaming havens have been seen at the likes of Glastonbury and Glade Festivals, Bloc Weekend as well as on The Gadget Show on Channel 5.
