Rave History

How about a bit of U.K rave history, the rave scene got started in London in the early 80’s but it wasn’t really until the acid house scene got things going in the late 80’s and spread across the whole of the U.K into a underground movement. Rain dance, Fantasia were organizing huge legal raves in fields and warehouses with up to 40,000 hardcore ravers @ Tribal Gathering in 1993 the happy hardcore scene started to evolve into lots more genres like jungle then became known as drum n bass with more darker elements in 1993 Helter Skelter started holding massive events around the north of England. Things got more difficult with drugs and police so lots of the music moved into clubs paradise in north London 1995 things seemed mellowed down a little we got introduced to speed garage, this seemed to fit the club scene a lot more, however drum n bass is still going to this day and is now bigger than ever and raves like fantasia and Helter Skelter are still going even as far as Europe USA and Australia where it has gone to another level…. So the story continues.
