I got this error while trying to playback a youtube video embedded in a website other than youtube. I did not have to go to youtube to watch it, i only get this with safari browser so all i did was play it back in internet explorer or firefox and the video played back just fine.
So this error "This video contains content from Sony music entertainment. It is restricted from playback on certain sites", was not related to the site i was on but rather to the browser i was using. (safari) so it just figures apple trying to control everything we do maybe its time to jailbreak safari as well as iphones and ps3's

i get the same message but even when i open the webpage in ie or firefox or safari or chrome or any browser.

Press play on this video clip embedded from youtube and see if you get the error msg? This video works perfect with internet explorer however if i load this same page with Safari i get "This video contains content from SME. It is restrited from playback on certain sites. Watch on YouTube"

These vids show perfectly in other browsers why safari?
tested this message only comes up in safari and not in internet explorer
